Our main catering kitchen is situated on a wine farm in Botrivier, a small village en route to Hermanus and Caledon, one of the most fertile regions of the Cape Overberg. In 2007, owing to these very favourable conditions and all the farm space around us, we established a vegetable and herb garden alongside our catering kitchen. We now grow as much of our own organic fresh produce and herbs as possible. This allows us to have more control over how our fresh ingredients are grown and we are able to offer seasonal organic produce on our menus, when available.

We have also initiated a recycling programme in our kitchen to minimise the impact that our catering business has on the environment. All non-organic materials, e.g. paper, metal, plastic and glass, are separated into special bins and taken to the Hermanus Recycling Plant for further processing.
